Finland University is a consortium jointly owned by four leading Finnish research universities: Tampere University, University of Eastern Finland, University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University. The purpose of Finland University is to combine the best knowledge and expertise in these universities in order to create learning solutions for students and professionals from around the world. Our customers include educational institutions, governments, companies, NGOs, foundations, and public and private organisations of various kinds.
All our member universities have been audited by the Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council (FINHEEC), ensuring their quality and high standards of operation. Each university also appears in the main international ranking lists published by Times Higher Education, QS World University Rankings, and Academic Rankings of World Universities.
Finland University is a member of Education Finland, which is a governmental cluster programme supporting the best education providers in their growth on the international market. The programme is coordinated by the Finnish National Agency for Education and funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment.
OUR WORK WITH LOCAL PARTNERS
Finland University operates globally with local partners designing the most suitable solution through what we call a co-evolution concept. This co-evolution concept is the basis for long-lasting partnerships and it has achieved strong results around the world. Within this concept our member universities in Finland provide evidence-based knowledge and experience in the fields important for the partner and country in question, whereas our local partners contribute in localising and implementing the desired learning models to the local learning environment.
