Aayush Jaiswal
Åbo Akademi University

I am Aayush Jaiswal from India, a master’s student in Chemical Engineering at Åbo Akademi University. I love the world of technology and the study environment in Finland provides me a playground where I can toy with ideas and work on developing them into innovative technologies. Outside work, I play football, home-brew beer, write blogs and read poetry.

I was searching for universities in Europe to undertake a research-based internship while pursuing my bachelor’s degree in India and found Finland to be interesting place to apply to. I got a fully-funded internship at Åbo Akademi University in summer of 2016 and after getting impressed by the research facilities here, I decided to apply for a master’s starting from fall 2017. I have thoroughly enjoyed my working and studying experience in Finland and I wish to make other students aware of how outstanding place this is for obtaining education.
